Reenacting a Tangled Scene

I asked Sydney to pull the drain open when her bath was over.  As she pulled the drain open she dramatically said, "Go. Live your dreams."  Just another day in the life of our child actress.

Interview With Sydney

What was your favorite ride at Disneyland?
The Matterhorn Mountain.  (Very true - it was the first ride we went on each morning we were there.  The first morning we went on it two times in a row!)

What is your favorite color?
Pink and purple.

What is your favorite movie?
Jungle Book.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
To Disneyland and the beach.

What's your favorite drink?
Chocolate almond milk.

What's your favorite vegetable?
Green beans.

What's your favorite fruit?
Oranges.  Or peaches.

How about favorite dress-up dress?
Silvermist.

What do you like best about Christmas?
Because we can put ornaments on the tree.  And snow.  I like throwing snowballs at people when they aren't looking.

What is your favorite vacation?
My favorite vacation is going to all my family's houses.

What are your hermit crabs names?
Alyssa Maddick, Sea Moo Cow, Mr. Bill and Ariel.

Sydney's Hermit Crabs

Sydney has had hermit crabs since last year. Sadly one of ours (Ariel) died.  When we told Sydney that Ariel died she said the sweetest thing.  She told us that Ariel will always live in her heart.  When she laughs it is because Ariel and Humu Nuku (her fish that died) are crawling around her heart and tickling her.

After losing Ariel, we got two new friends for Alyssa Maddick.  We also bought a lot of new shells for them to move into when they get bigger. You see the white shell in the back left with pink on it? That was Alyssa Maddick's shell. Sydney picked out a new shell for her (the blue one in the middle-front) and she moved into it the first night! Alyssa Maddick is a true hermit crab - she never leaves her shell. Our first new crab is Mr. Bill (the back right crab).

And our other new crab is Moo-Cow in the cow shell.



This is Mr. Bill on top of the tree and Moo Cow. Don't be fooled... Moo Cow changed shells the first night we got him. Sydney renamed him to Sea Moo Cow. These are the most active crabs ever! They climb everything, dig in the sand and are always on the move!

Here are all of our little friends. Alyssa Maddick is on top of the house on the left, Mr. Bill is on the tree and Sea Moo Cow is next to the water on the right. They are so much fun!

New Year's Day at the Beach
