Halloween

Many festivities to be had this haunting Halloween.  First, we made black cookie dough.  It turned our tongues black and it was awesome!

Next comes the pumpkin carving.  This pumpkin design is all Sydney's creativity.  She wanted to turn her pumpkin into a black glitter spider this year.  Alvin and Sydney created it together...

Sydney dug out the seeds all by herself.

The pumpkin was super thick so Alvin helped her poke holes for eyeballs after she drew them on.

Next comes the black glitter paint.

Ta Da!  A spooky black glitter spider.

It's time for our little Candy Princess Fairy to enjoy one of her favorite days of the year!  This year she wore wings, lollipop antenna and had red hair...

Smiling big during the school parade.  (Check out the videos for her performance of Thriller!!)

Doing a bean bag toss.

She won some vampire teeth!  Her favorite prize of the day.

A ring toss.

And her other favorite part of the Halloween Festival - arts and crafts!!

Time to roll out our cookie dough and make some spooky black cats, ghosts and pumpkins (just like Sydney's black pumpkin this year!)

We even made one of our cat cookies look just like our favorite little Manx cat, Shine.

Time for Sydney and Merrick to go trick or treating!!

Look at all that loot!  They sorted their candy while watching some classics: The Adventures of Ichabod Crane and It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

One last picture of the red hair.  We loved the hair this year.  And surprisingly, or disappointingly if you ask Sydney, the red color came out with the first wash.  She would have been fine having red hair indefinitely.

Happy Halloween!!!!
