Our Little Actress

Sydney is made for acting.  Her favorite saying right now is "You broke my heart!"  She even goes so far as to put her hands together and say "it was like this," then separate her hands and stretch her arms out and say, "and now it's like this!"  All in the most dramatic voice.  And this is when we just asked her to put her shoes on!

A Trip to the Park

Memorial Golf Tournament

We got together with family and friends for a golf tournament to raise money for melanoma cancer research in memory of a beloved friend, Terry Patters.  It was a beautiful day - perfect to celebrate the life of a beautiful woman.  We love you, Terry.

Sydney has been a little mermaid this summer! She wants to go to the pool all the time. We got her some floaties and she loves the independence she has now. She jumps in the pool and swims all by herself.

Ready to go! Sydney loves the goggles because she can see everything under water.

Yes, she likes to just lay in the sun for a little while.

Going to the Zoo in Search of the Red Panda

Sydney's trip to the zoo today was special because she was going to see the red panda. This month she is learning all about China. She is learning about a lot of the animals that live in China so it was exciting for her to go see one up close - the red panda. She also learned that the red panda is not a bear like the panda bear, but is in the raccoon family. Ask her what else she learned about China - you might be surprised!!
